Mawamba Lodge
To visit Tortuguero (Mawamba Lodge) is a wonderful adventure in itself. If we consider that there are no roads to get here, and to arrive you will be taking a boat ride along the network of lakes and canals, you will be part of a great adventure that starts right there. Keen adventurers will have a fun time in our optional kayak tour along the Tortuguero Canals with a local guide. With top-notch equipment, you will enjoy paddling on the calm waters of Tortuguero and have a great time to observe the exuberant surrounding nature.

Another great opportunity to enjoy is our twilight/night hike in our private trail. Along with a guide, you will depart by boat from the Lodge to Mawamba’s nearby private trail adjacent to the National Park. You will learn about the behavior of nature at night and be surrounded by the different sounds of nocturnal animals and insects, and will be able to feel the difference of enjoying the forest in day and night time.

Trogon Lodge
In San Gerardo de Dota (Trogon Lodge) the zip line canopy tour is an adrenaline-filled and fun adventure, through which you will enjoy the forest, the views and some great laughs, while you swing from one tree to the other, through our top quality slings and cables.
Our Canopy was built with two priorities in mind: to create a fun and learning experience that offers a high level of comfort to the participants. Located along primary and secondary Cloud Forest, the platforms are situated in the midst of the Lodge private grounds. The tree platforms offer 360º views, with independent and redundant safety systems.
