Our early morning boat tour from 6 to 8 am is a wonderful option to see nature at rising and another opportunity for wonderful bird watching. One can commonly see aninghas, egrets, herons, tanagers, parrots, toucans, oropendolas and cormorants among many others.
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the wildlife of the area! Get a chance to see some of the more than 300 birds that reside in the area such as egrets, anhinga, kingfishers, the green and great blue herons, jacanas, hawks and kites. Other animals that you might see are: iguanas, caimans, basilisk lizards, fishing bats, three-toed sloths, monkeys such as the howler, white-faced and spider monkeys.

Trogon Lodge
