Discover the lush vegetation that abounds in the midst of the Rainforest.

Or maybe you want to enjoy the wonders of San Gerardo de Dota at Trogon Lodge, located near Cerro de la Muerte, this country's highest peak. Admidst dazzling flowers, showing amazing shades of colors and where centennial oak trees show their impressive roots sits Trogon Lodge, at an altitude of 7000 ft above sea level, surrounded by the unspoiled ecology of the area.

You also have the option to discover the famous rainforest Braulio Carrillo National Park at Rio Danta Restaurant & Reserve. Surrounded by 24 acres of magnificent gardens, tropical trees and natural trails, the Restaurant overlooks the Danta River, formed from one of the most important lagoons in the Braulio Carrillo National Park, the Danta Lagoon. With a visit to Rio Danta, you will enjoy a wonderful meal, surrounded by the sounds and colors of the Rainforest. From here, one can continue with the exploration of this area, including very interesting places such as the Rainforest Aerial Tram, Costa Flores, Earth Station, canopy tours and butterfly gardens. It is also a great stop when on the way to Limon, Sarapiqui and South Caribbean.
